Fuel Clothing Company was started by two childhood friends, Shane Levi Gould (Pro Snowboarder) and Buster Halterman (Pro Skateboarder). They started the company with $1200 between the two of them. It began with tees, hats and stickers but has expanded to include many other products that you can shop for here.
Part of the company is known as “Sock Karma”. They sell very high quality socks for active use. Sock Karma is a monthly sock subscription. You can purchase anywhere from 1 to 4+ socks a month. For every sock purchased a pair of socks is donated to someone who is homeless.
“Think of how good a new pair of socks will feel – now think of how good they’d feel if they were your only pair. That’s why we want to donate a pair of socks to homeless shelters every month with the sock subscription.”
Socks are among the most needed items at a homeless shelter but are often the least donated. Many people are willing to donate clothing but will wear out their own socks until they have holes. The homeless population is constantly at risk for foot infection and in need of warmth from the cold. Fuel Clothing Company is providing these individuals with an item of clothing that we take for granted but they are in desperate need of.
Visit Fuel Clothing Company to order a sock subscription and get involved in helping the homeless through your purchase.
